Oh what a night

Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colours on the snowy linen land
Oh, that is part of a lyrics from Josh Groban's Vincent (Starry Starry Night). Would that song just come in a perfect 10 watch a romantic movie under the stars? Well, actually its not entirely a starry starry night tonight, so minus 5 points. And its no romantic movie, minus another 5 points. Nothing left at all. And to add on to it, it farking rain. Yeah, goddamn farking rain.

Starlight Cinema is a nice concept, for the romantic couples who enjoy a good movie out in the open, or even enjoy a nice picnic out with your friends to sit down on the grass patch, have a bottle of wine or two, and enjoy a good conversation of old time sake. Remind me of the time when my parents drive me to the cinema to catch a movie, where you get to park your car next to your allocated slot with a speaker pole there.

But then it wont be really that great when you have to watch your movie in the rain. Just 10 seconds into the movie, the landlord above us decided that he wanna do some floor cleaning beneath him. Then you can see half the people scramble to a cornered shelter. No point moving there cause you probably wont get to see anything from that angle. Just lift the groundsheet over our heads for some cover. 90% wet is not considered totally drenched wahhhhh. See lah, how romantic can it get? First time in my life watching a movie in the rain, and half almost totally wet. After we got into the place, all the good seats are taken up. There's at least a thousand people in there. By the end of the movie, look like more than 70% of the people had left.

Skeleton Key is suppose to be some horror movie. So that does take away the romantic part, right? Kate Hudson don't really look that fabulous in that movie, and she isn't one to start off with in the first place. A movie about voodoo. Its wasn't really that great but I do like the ending, a different ending, I must say. As I was complaining for too many times, people seems to look the art in making a really really good horror movie. A movie that strikes big fear in you. Its not the special effects. Its the atmosphere it created using the theme, the actors and actresses, the sound and the sequencing. I miss a really good horror movie.

Oh, romantic is suppose to be for two person. Three's a crowd. Four's a party. Five's a I dunno what. So romantic is not even suppose to be associated with tonight. -shrug- And its even worst when you are suffering from a very bad backache. Or what do you call that are that is above your arse and below your spine? Damn. Chinese sinseh no official MC. Sighz.
