The fake nightmare before the real nightmare

Finally Sillypore is taking the ultimate nightmare test. But read through all these news and you will find that Sillyporeans are not ready at all. I think there are just way too many boos boos but of course it is never easy to plan one big exercise that involve the public.

Out of 90 "casualties", only 28 arrived at the hospital and still the hospital was graded A. Kauz. What kind of A was that? During my time (wait, I'm not so ancient horrrrr but I'm stressing the time frame and generation gap or is there one?), A* meant scoring more than 90%, or even an A1 is was more 75%. You mean they have change it now? See, this is what happened when I stop reading the newspaper. I'm not informed of such change. Not only that, the hospital was even ready before attack took place. Man, in a real world situation, if the hospital can be ready before an attack, I think the hospital management staffs should be employed on high pay and put under our Counter Attack team. Then ask them to prepare to KILL THE FARKING ENEMY before they even THINK about killing causing casualties upon us.

You had people WAITING for instructions on WHAT to do when a bomb went off inside a train. When the door opened, no one moved. Volunteer had to tell the people around him, the reporter reported and I quote "Okay, exercise begins. Let's get out of the train now." Yeah right, that is so true of Sillyporeans. Waiting for instruction. Under most situation, normally civilians are likely to rush out of en enclosure once an opportunity arise. Door open liao and u still see there. You look at me, I look at you. Good leh. See can see babes anot.

They made an announcement 15 minutes before they started the exercise, and many commuters left the train in order not to partake in the nightmare exercise. Oh yah, all surprise elements gone. I remember there is a test, done back in the 70s or was it 80s, and I cannot remember what test it is called. Something along the line where if the monitored subjects knew that they were monitored, the result produced will be too good to be true in a real world scenario. I think the same concept applies here.  Probably because of this, no one was really thinking on how they are suppose to be reacting. They will just appear for instructions are on what to do next. Who to blame again? No finger pointing please.

Oh, did I mention that the test took place at 6.30am on a sunday where most part of the nation were snoring away in their dreamland? Be practical. If I'm a terrorist and I'm going to seriously cause damage, no way am I going to do it at that hour. My best bet will be at 8am - 9am during the peak hours to maximum my carnage. But of course, if they are going to conduct the nightmare exercise at that hour, somebody is going to be reading a lot of complain letters. But on the other hand, they will provide a much more real world scenarios and the result collected back will be much much reliable. And that no one, not even the train station staffs nor the hospital be informed to. And no pre-announcement to the public. And the "terrorists" and whoever partake in the nightmare exercise be a lot more discreet, and not letting general public spot them easily.

Oh, I know, its so much easier to say them here in my little space than to carry them out. If they seriously do as I kindly suggested, they will be facing a few more extra outcry and complaints. But if the result comes back positive, that will means we can really depend on the necessary staffs to properly handle the real nightmare. And the public will be assured. At least I would be. And if it negative, then they can really think up better procedures. Now, frankly, I still won't trust them. I still have my doubts since the test data are not accurate enough. Oh, by the way, at that hour when they started the nightmare, I was just about to enter never never land.
